The Creators Behind The Collective

  • The Founders of the Riverdale Pottery Collective

Riverdale Pottery Collective was founded in 2021 by Nora Bourdeau and John Dorsey, two local potters who share a love of clay. Both potters live in the Riverdale neighborhood of the historic town of Dedham, Massachusetts.

  • John Dorsey

John’s adventures with clay started with relationships with master potters Makoto Yabe and Masakazu Kusakabe. His hand-built pieces reference vernacular architecture, antique tools, and historical patterns.

  • Nora Creahan Bourdeau
